Dry Rub Chicken Thighs with Alabama White Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup corn starch
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup dry rub (I typically use Old Bay)
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a container
  2. Dip chicken in buttermilk and shake off the excess
  3. Dredge chicken in container of dry ingredients
  4. Refrigerate container with dry ingredients and chicken for at least 30 minutes so flour sticks to chicken
  5. Remove from fridge and use excess dry ingredients to coat chicken a second time
  6. Air fry at 350 (15 minutes skin up, 12 minutes with skin down, flip and cook for 5 more minutes).
  7. Serve with Alabama White Sauce (See recipe below)
