Crab Rangoon

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 3 oz. imitation crab meat
  • 5 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/8 tsp sugar
  • 1 package of wontons

Directions

  1. Place wonton wrappers aside and mix remaining ingredient in blender.
  2. Place one teaspoon of filling in each of the wontons
  3. Moisten the edges of the wonton with slurry made from 1 tablespoon flour and 2 tablespoons water. Fold in a triangle and press to seal removing air from inside. Use additional slurry to seal edges.
  4. Heat 2-3 inches of vegetable oil in a skillet until it is just under 350 degrees
  5. Fry for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown
