
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tbsp ghee
- 3 sticks celery
- 3 green onions
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp taragon
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 cup chopped roasted chestnuts
- 10 pieces of toasted white bread
- 1 1/4 cup turkey drippings
Directions:
- Melt ghee in pan and brown meat
- Add celery, green onions, parsley and spices, sautee for 2-3 minutes
- Add roasted chestnuts and 1/4 cup turkey drippings to pan and continue to cook until juices reduce
- Let cool
- 30 minutes before serving, add bread to stuffing as well as another cup of turkey dripping. Mix together and keep warm in oven
- Serve with turkey
