Turkey Stuffing

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 3 sticks celery
  • 3 green onions
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp taragon
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup chopped roasted chestnuts
  • 10 pieces of toasted white bread
  • 1 1/4 cup turkey drippings

Directions:

  1. Melt ghee in pan and brown meat
  2. Add celery, green onions, parsley and spices, sautee for 2-3 minutes
  3. Add roasted chestnuts and 1/4 cup turkey drippings to pan and continue to cook until juices reduce
  4. Let cool
  5. 30 minutes before serving, add bread to stuffing as well as another cup of turkey dripping. Mix together and keep warm in oven
  6. Serve with turkey
